FLYING SCHOOL WINGS OVER HOLLAND

Wings over Holland is one of the most experienced General Aviation flight schools in the Netherlands, located at Lelystad Airport in Flevoland. Hundreds of pilots received their pilot’s license and flight training at our flight school. Thousands of pilots made their first flight with Wings over Holland and many tens of thousands saw our breathtaking and spectacular art flying demonstrations during air shows and in television programs. Everyone dreamed of becoming a pilot as a child. Every day, Wings over Holland makes that dream come true.

OPPORTUNITIES AT OUR FLIGHT SCHOOL

Whether you would like to pilot one of our state-of-the-art Diamond aircraft, develop yourself in the stunt flying, want to house your aircraft with the rest of our exceptional fleet or keep your aircraft in top condition using the aircraft maintenance of our technical team: feel welcome at our experienced flight school in Lelystad.

So you can fly all kinds of things with us! So you can train aerobatics to the highest level or even learn to master a crate with a tail wheel (“taildragger”). Are you a starter or an advanced flyer? None of that matters! With us you can continue to develop yourself in any field through a variety of opportunities. PPL, CPL, Frozen ATPL, FI, etc., we see ourselves as the knowledge center for General Aviation!

Almost all sports related to fixed wing aircraft are represented in our training program. At Wings over Holland you can get flight training, a trial lesson in flying, flight lessons, maintenance, aerobatics, aquatic flying and flight instructor training. In addition, you can contact us to keep your license valid. We offer pro checks for: Single / Multi Engine, Instrument Rating, Flight Instructor and more. So you never have to leave us!

THE ATMOSPHERE IN OUR FLIGHT SCHOOL

We strive for an informal, but also definitely a professional atmosphere. You, as a pilot or aspiring pilot, are quickly introduced to responsibilities you carry as a pilot for yourself, as well as for others! Therefore, we are always working with each other on safety, in addition, of course, it is just possible to move freely through our company. Our team consists of our passionate instructors, the operations staff, the commercial people, and, of course, the technicians. They take great pleasure and dedication in ensuring that Wings over Holland remains a unique flight school! You will quickly feel at home and involved here.

Flight school Wings over Holland has been around since 1983 and was founded by Bert Huizenga and Ko van Tamelen. After 6 years, in 1989, Luuk van Hooijonk’s aircraft maintenance company “Wings Maintenance” was also added to it. Since 2013, Luuk van Hooijdonk may call himself director of Wings over Holland. Meanwhile, Wings over Holland has grown into one of the most experienced and well-known flight schools in the Netherlands!
