About Us

Wings over Holland is one of the most experienced and leading flight schools in the Netherlands. Based at Lelystad Airport, we have trained hundreds of pilots since our founding in 1983. In the process, many have obtained their pilot’s license and successfully completed their flight training.

Our growth over the years

Six years later, in 1989, Luuk van Hooijdonk’s aircraft maintenance company “Wings Maintenance” joined. Since then, our organization has only grown. In 2013, Luuk took over as director. Under his leadership, our flight school has grown into one of the best-known training centers for General Aviation.

More than just flight training

In addition, we offer instructor training and help pilots keep their pilot licenses valid, such as Single / Multi Engine and Instrument Rating. On top of that, we are a well-known name at events and in the media. Thousands of people made their first flight with us, while tens of thousands enjoyed our spectacular aerobatics demonstrations at air shows and on television.
