Private Pilot License (PPL)
Learn to fly and get your PPL - your first step toward a pilot's license

Getting PPL at Wings over Holland
PPL training at Wings over Holland focuses on the practical part of your pilot training. You start with dual control instruction (DBO) to learn control, navigation and emergency procedures. Then you fly at least 10 hours solo, including a 270 km overland flight between different airfields.
The training concludes with a practical exam, after which you can apply for your Private Pilot License (PPL). Theory training is a mandatory component, but you must arrange it yourself with an outside provider.
In addition, you need to arrange your own English language test (LPE), radio telephony course, Class II medical examination and PPL exams at the CBR. For all these components we can advise you on suitable providers. The application for your license at Kiwa Register is also outside the training.
